Growing up on a family farm in Central Alberta, Dawson developed a strong work ethic, respect for the land, and a deep appreciation for community and family values—principles that guide his approach to helping clients find their ideal homes.

Education, Agriculture, and Early Experience
Dawson holds an Agriculture Management Diploma with a major in Agri-Commerce from Olds College, where he built a solid foundation in land use, property management, and rural business practices. His academic knowledge, combined with hands-on experience operating the family farm and living in both the Town of Innisfail and the Town of Olds, gives him a unique perspective on the lifestyle, potential, and value of both urban and rural properties.
Dawson’s early exposure to real estate came through mentorship from his father, Rees Smith, a seasoned Realtor®. Learning firsthand about the connection between land, homeownership, and community, Dawson developed a blend of practical knowledge, business acumen, and client-focused expertise that he now brings to every real estate transaction.
